Mixing things that you enjoy with creative work is a lot of fun. It's not always the most valuable thing to do, but it certainly creates motivation for me. This project tasked me with designing a typeface and a poster for a celebrity. I chose George RR Martin, who is widely known as the creator of Game of Thrones. However, he also have a massive hand in the creation of the lore for Elden Ring, a videogame I enjoy. So I decided to combine imagery from that game with a Game of Thrones inspired type style to create this poster. While it's inspired from looking at the covers of the hardcover books, it's unique enough to stand on its own.
