Indian Motorcycle Mockup
A challenge of layout and illustration, this project required me to use Illustrator and InDesign to make a dynamic, exciting layout of a car of my choice on a billboard. In addition to this, I made a two page magazine ad for the same vehicle. I chose a motorcycle to make things harder for myself, and I enjoyed the challenge.
Layout is King
The layout for this project was incredibly important. Readability and legibility are tough when you have to work with different media types, and thinking about these concepts was a challenge for me. Figuring out the layout for the billboard was an entirely different task to figuring out the layout for the magazine article. They both needed to solve the problem, and they needed to look somewhat cohesive.
